Rabbit. Lie in the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino Las Vegas. Christian has worked as Musical Director for Latin vocal legend Julio Iglesias, Cirque du Soleil’s Zaia at The Venetian in Macau, China and Penn & Teller in Las Vegas.
Christian Tamburr is an internationally renowned vibraphonist and pianist with touring and performance credits in over 65 countries around the world. Downbeat Magazine recognized him with the Outstanding Solo Jazz Performer Award and the Critics Choice Top Rising Star Award on vibraphone. He currently leads the critically acclaimed Christian Tamburr Quintet, which was featured in a string of sold out performances at Lincoln Center in New York City and the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
Christian has had the opportunity to tour and perform with many of the jazz legends, including Clark Terry, James Moody, Kenny Barron, Milt Hinton, Bucky Pizarelli, Tal Farlow, Nicolas Payton, Billy Drummond, Matt Wilson, Eric Marienthal, Marcus Print, Nicolas Payton, Mark Murphy, Clint Holmes, Ann Hampton Calaway and Rene Marie. He has performed on vibraphone as special guest with pianist Dave Brubeck and as featured solo percussionist with Michael Feinstein.
